Indigenous Arts​

 

        Thanks to grants from the Arts Midwest, the Association for Indigenous Performances and the National Endowment for the Arts we are able to showcase Indigenous artists from Michigan and beyond.

       Detroit occupies the contemporary and ancestral homelands of three Anishinaabe nations of the Council of Three Fires: the Ojibwe, Ottawa, and Potawatomi. We have also invited Indigenous artists from some other areas.
